For bugs, feature requests, and usage questions, use the issue tracker or contact details linked from the relevant Crunchy Codes project. When reporting a problem, include the project version, operating system, environment details, and clear reproduction steps when possible.

Codex Local Meter

The latest Marketplace release is version 0.4.0. It preserves the Primary and Secondary rate-limit identities reported by Codex and labels separate five-hour and seven-day local activity estimates when service rate-limit data is unavailable. It also shows a rolling local 15-minute token pace. Optional live account telemetry is off by default; when enabled, it reads current rate-limit metadata through the locally installed Codex App Server. Use the Marketplace listing for installation and the GitHub repository for source, documentation, and issue tracking. For bugs or feature requests, include your extension version, VS Code version, operating system, whether live account telemetry is enabled, and whether the diagnostics command can read your Codex folder.

The native macOS menu bar app is currently built and installed from its public source repository. If it is running but not visible, check System Settings > Menu Bar > Allow in the Menu Bar and enable Codex Local Meter. Report app issues in its separate issue tracker and include the macOS version and whether live account telemetry is enabled.

Security

If you need to report a security concern, do not post sensitive details in a public issue. Use the private security reporting channel listed in the project repository, or contact the maintainer directly.

Response times

Crunchy Codes projects are independently maintained. Support requests are reviewed as availability allows, with priority given to bugs, regressions, and security-related reports.

Project-specific details

Some tools, including future editor extensions, may have their own setup notes, support channels, or compatibility details. Prefer the instructions linked from that project when they are available.
