About this activity
The brief picture presentation is the challenge. Your tapping speed is not scored. Each picture appears automatically after a short preparation cue. Practice uses a longer viewing time. A short round adjusts viewing time gradually according to accuracy. Butterfly distance stays at your chosen setting.
Use a comfortable screen size, your usual glasses if needed, and a consistent viewing distance. Screen size and browser timing affect the experience. Display durations are approximate, rather than calibrated clinical measurements. Pause or stop whenever you like.
There are no health scores, streaks or leaderboards. Results stay in this open page; this activity sends no game results to a server.
The design draws on published visual processing and attention training methods. It is our own adaptation, with no established dementia-prevention benefit.
